Time for even more holiday pictures. I believe most of Europe is currently baking hot. Not so up here in Scotland. It's pleasantly cool, although some might say it's bloody freezing. A few more pictures from the last few days:
On Friday we went to walk from Saligo Bay on Islay northwards:
On Saturday it was time to return to the mainland. After the ferry crossing from Port Ellen to Kennacraig we stopped at the Crinan Canal for Lunch. Most of the afternoon was spent for the drive up to Fort William:
Today we first went for a walk in Glen Nevis (Yes, that's the glen around Ben Nevis):
We had some rain but it was still a very nice walk. In the afternoon we made our way over to Strontian, where we are staying a Kinloch House with a very nice view over Loch Sunart:
That's all for now, probably no more pictures until earliest next weekend. Unless I get bored and find another place with excellent GPRS reception. Which is unlikely on the Isle of Skye and in a remote hotel near Inverness...
