Light Blogging Ahead

Picture of Armin with a speech bubble

On one hand I'm sad to write this, but on the other hand the joy about being able to write this entry far outweighs the sadness. I probably won't be blogging much over the coming weeks, possibly even months. If you've read this blog over the last three months and paid attention you can probably guess the reason:

I've started in a new job this week.

It all happened fairly quickly in the end, after the interview rounds I was offered the job late last week and I started this Wednesday.

My first priority now is to have a quick and successful ramp into the job. The company is based in Reading, about 45min to 1hr from Swindon depending on traffic. Those two put together mean I won't have as much time for blogging as I used to have, at least not during the week. I still hope to find the time for the odd posting during the week, there will also be a bit of time for it over the weekends. I certainly hope to continue the 'tradition' of the last few weeks of blogging about my Sunday walk.

A big thank you to everyone who helped me over the last few weeks and the moral support I've received. You know who you are.

Oh, and as this is still a blog have a few quick links:

That's enough blogging for today. But don't worry, there will be more. Frequency and time to be confirmed. But while my new employer has a company blog (Not entirely sure, but I think they might have beaten my previous employer to it by a few days ;-)) my attitude towards blogging about my employer and my job hasn't changed. In other words, this is a personal blog where I write about things which interest me outside of work and where I only speak for myself. Nothing more, nothing less.
