Escaping it all
Cameron McNeish describes it well, getting away from it when the news threaten to overwhelm you: "The peaceful reality was in stark contrast to the tales of war that had blared from my car radio earlier that morning. Here, on a damp spring day, life was far removed from man's inhumanity to man and instead a comforting reassurance in the seasonal cycle of growth and new life was laid bare around me."
