Granny's Rock (and other updates)
Yes, I'm still here. Just didn't get round posting for the last few days. I've been busy at work among other things. And in the remaining time I've been working on the WalkIslay 2005 travelogue. The QTVR panorama of the view over Machir Bay and Kilchoman turned out quite nice I think. The corresponding page about our walk from Kilchoman to Kilchiaran is still not finished though.
I'm currently trying to figure out how to best add something about Granny's Rock. The picture on the left is a quick crop out of one of the pictures I took. Looks quite good actually. May be I'll take that and one of the other pictures with more background visible. Or I'll do something of the "can you see it?" variety with a link to the cropped image. Need to think about that one.
While I'm doing that another Islay related link: I had already mentioned the Islay fisherman who netted an MOD submarine. The BBC has a few few more details and pictures. They won't be online for long, but The Ileach currently also has a picture online (and a few more in the print edition, if you're lucky enough to have one. I do.)
Don't care about Islay and Granny's Rock? Have a few other links then:

- I like a good whisky, but £32,000 for a bottle is a bit much. And it wasn't even Islay whisky.
