What I Did Today

Today was kind of split into two halves, a consuming half and a creative half. This morning I spent consuming someone elses work, this afternoon I created some work for others to enjoy (hopefully). What did I spend my day with then?

This morning I read the latest book in the Inspector Rebus series by Ian Rankin, Fleshmarket Close. Not exactly highbrow literature, but excellent entertainment. An interesting tangled web of cases and events which after a while all turn out to be related, centering on an illegal immigration ring. The topic of racism is also touched, quite fitting to the current debate about immigration. But back to the book. For me another excellent book by Ian Rankin, highly recommended.

This afternoon was spent adding two more pages to my Scotland Summer 2004 travelogue: First a page about the drive along the east coast of Kintyre, second a QuickTime VR panorama of the from Cnoc-nan Ghabar over Kilbrannan Sound to the Isle of Arran. I hope you'll enjoy them.

And tomorrow? Depending on the weather and how I feel (for some reason I'm feeling a bit tired today) I might be on yet another Sunday Walk. Or I'll just relax at home. We'll see.
