Unbuilt Mackintosh

Yesterday I read a report in the Sunday Herald about Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Among other things George Rosie writes:

Mackintosh's working life was as short as his portfolio was modest. Glasgow is not exactly littered with Mackintosh buildings. More than one pilgrim to Glasgow has been disappointed by how few there are.

How fitting that I received a mail from Cemal Ozturk of Ozturk Modelmakers today telling me of an update to their Unbuilt Mackintosh website with more of their models (I had blogged this before, the site was much smaller then). A lot of the competition entries and other designs Mackintosh created were never built. Cemal and his team have now built a few more models of several designs. My favourite is the Alternative Concert Hall, what's yours?
