Sunday Walk

Picture of a gate on a path under trees Today was another glorious day, warm and mostly sunny. Time to go for another walk, this time I decided to go on a walk near Malmesbury I had found in Country Walking Magazine.

There weren't many photo opportunities (and my battery went on very low about half way through the walk), but it was still a very nice walk through the countryside and sometimes along the River Avon. On arriving back in Malmesbury after eight miles of walking I stopped at The Smoking Dog for a pint of Guinness.

This means I won't finish the Islay Walking Week 2004 travelogue this weekend as I had previously hoped, I just didn't have the time. In the meantime you can read about the Isle of Jura Fell Race in the Sunday Herald (researched during the Walking Week).

For me it's time for a relaxing bath and then some sleep...
