Back to Tesco

Yesterday evening I was in a part of Swindon I don't normally go to. Borders were offering some discounts, so I went to buy a few more Very Short Introductions. The Borders store is in a shopping centre also home to a large ASDA / Wal Mart store and as I had to do my weekly shopping anyway I thought I give it a try.

It wasn't convincing. While I found most of what I wanted the store seemed to be untidy, the selection was limited and a lot of products were sold out. There were a lot of people in green jackets with an ASDA logo running around, but that's all the seemed to be doing. Running around. Not tidying it up, refilling shelves or anything like that.

The only good points were that they had some Erdinger Weissbier and Pågen Krisprolls, which are not always available at other stores.

In other words: It's back to Tesco next week. And may be a monthly trip over to ASDA for Weissbier and Krisprolls.

No, ASDA doesn't sell bikes like this one. Only Swedish playgrounds have them. I think.
