Port Charlotte
It's time for another shameless plug: I've just completed a page about Port Charlotte on the Isle of Islay. It's probably the most beautiful village on the Isle of Islay, so you should really visit it.
It doesn't have a distillery, although it used to have one more than 70 years ago. But Bruichladdich distillery is only about 2 miles down the road north east along Loch Indaal. Do you need any more reasons to visit? Didn't think so...
