A few quick links
A few links I stumbled over during the last few days (and weeks):
- Not much really new in the program, but it was still quite interesting: BBC Radio 4's "In Business" programme today covered Internet and Telephones (Listen again button on the left). Great inventions both, unfortunately threatened in their usefulness by telemarketers and spam.
- Too bad these scammers didn't visit me. I don't even have a television....
- Jackie Kemp in The Herald rubbishes Edward Glaeser's claim that "The car is the future". I find Suburbia with all the identical houses scary.
- BBC Comedy Clips galore. Hours of fun. Excellent.
- I should probably give it it's own entry, but it will probably take too long until I get around to it. So here's the link now: The Accidental Smallholder. Dan Champion's new website and a new blog about smallholding. I'm a city dweller, but find reading this site very interesting.
- Actually, while I'm at it, a few other blogs I should visit more often: A comment at the Accidental Smallholder blog reminded me of island life : living on the isle of lewis. And there are more island blogs, courtesy of the BBC: BBC Scotland: Island Blogging.
- Leaders and authenticity. Interesting read.

This is what happens if you don't have a shower: You have to improvise with a broken bucket. But it worked quite well. Apart from being quite cold, after all this was somewhere in Sweden.
